Mufti A. Beganskas, Chairman of the Lithuanian Council of Muslim Religious Communities - Muftiate, had a telephone call with Palestinian Representative Office in Helsinki Ambassador Mr. Taissir A.M. Al Adjouri. During their conversation, the Ambassador thanked the Lithuanian Mufti for his support and discussed the current situation in the Gaza region and near the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Lithuanian Muftiate reiterated its position and stressed that the situation in Palestine is not only the responsibility of the Palestinian people but also of all the Muslims in the world. 

At the end of the conversation, the Ambassador promised to visit the Muftiate in the near future.
